Hello Bluefin Families,

This is a reminder that Friday practices begin tomorrow! We will also have our team potluck, Big Tuna Awards, season theme reveal, and team suit distribution.

For our new families, Big Tuna is one of our favorite Friday traditions where one swimmer from each age group is recognized by the coaches for their hard work, attitude, sportsmanship, improvement, or team spirit. We love celebrating our swimmers each week!

We will also reveal this season’s theme and hand out team suits, which swimmers should wear for Saturday’s swim meet. If you are unable to attend Friday and cannot pick up your swimmer’s suit, a board member will bring it to Saturday’s meet.

Please also remember that although your swimmer may practice with another group during the week, swimmers must practice with their AGE GROUP on Fridays, as coaches will be reviewing relays and meet preparation.

In addition, please note that Coach Johnelle’s Group 3 swimmers will practice at 6:30pm on Friday.

Friday Evening Schedule:

4:30 pm – Groups 4 & 5 Practice
5:00 pm – Groups 1, 2, & 3 Eat
5:45 pm – Big Tuna Awards, Announcements & Season Theme Reveal
6:00 pm – Groups 4 & 5 Eat
6:00 pm – Groups 1 & 2 Practice
6:00 pm – Team Suit Distribution
6:30 pm – Group 3 (Coach Johnelle’s Group) Practice
