Hello Bluefin Families,

This is an exciting week for our team!

Practice times for Coach Ashley and Coach Crosby’s groups will change starting tomorrow. These groups will now practice from 4:30–6:00 PM.

On Tuesday, we’ll have our Tie-Dye Event! All swimmers participating must bring their white Bluefins T-shirt (the one with “30 Years” on the back)—please make sure it has been washed beforehand so the dye sets properly. Please refer to the chart in the newsletter for your swimmer’s assigned arrival time so they don’t miss out on the fun.

We also have Time Trials this Friday. Please see the attached document for important details, including event information and a pool map showing where each age group should report. 

We’d also like to highlight an important update regarding our first meet on May 16. Our meet will now be an away meet at San Leandro High School. The meet will likely still begin at 8:00 AM, but more details will be shared as they become available. Unfortunately, due to an NCS badminton event at Newark Memorial, we are unable to host. We truly appreciate the San Leandro team for graciously stepping in so we can keep our morning meet schedule.

With this change, our 30-Year Bluefins Family Reunion Party will still take place at Newark Memorial Pool, with a new start time of 3:30 PM.
