Please find the attached list of swimmers who have been selected for Champs. This is a difficult list for the coaches to make as we cannot take all our swimmers. Please note in some cases only one swimmer from a family was selected.

Please review the important details provided below.  ACTION: After reviewing all this information, please reply to this email with “confirmed” for your spot at Champs.

Key things to note about Champs this year:

Location: Chabot College (25555 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545)

Champs will take place on Friday, July 12 for the 13 and older swimmers and on Saturday, July 13 for the 12 and younger swimmers.

Mandatory Parents Meeting: There will be a virtual parent meeting on Tuesday, June 25 from 8:00pm - 9:00pm. A Microsoft Teams invite link will be sent in a separate email on Monday.

Champs Orders: You have the opportunity to purchase a dedication page for your swimmer, a champs program, a t-shirt, and food. The deadline to order will be Friday, June 28. Please use this link to order for Champs: https://forms.gle/LmYwd6oiktUozSWD9 

We cannot take any late submissions for this form, and it must be turned in on time.

Dedication Pages: Pages can include pictures with words of encouragement. Please send a file as we will NOT create it for you. You must email it by Wednesday 6/26. No extensions!

Drawing Contest: If your swimmer wants to submit a drawing for the program cover contest, please see the attached information and bring their submission to the deck on Friday.

Practice: Champs swimmers will remain with the normal split practice times for 7/1-7/3. There will be no practice on Thu. 7/4 and Fri. 7/5. From 7/8-7/10, practices remain at the same time. On 7/11 there will be a practice at Chabot College from 11:00 - 11:55am and on 7/12, there will be a practice at our pool for Groups 1-3 at 8:00 am.

More details will be coming out next week. We are looking forward to a great meet and would love to see all the swimmers of all ages at the pool Saturday of Champs for the award presentation. We will send more details out on the awards presentation soon.

Again, this is a hard list for the coaches to pull together and we wish we could take everyone. We wish the Champs team well and congratulations on making the team. We want to thank all our swimmers for their amazing hard work this season and dedication to our team!
