We are so excited to get the swimmers in the pool! We look forward to an amazing swim season. Here are a few updates:

• Mandatory parent meeting is on Wednesday, March 20th from 6:00- 7:00 pm. This is an adult only event.

• Swim Suit try on is on 3/20, 3/21, or 3/26 from 5:00-6:00 pm All swimmers MUST try on a suit.

• Practice starts on Tuesday, March 26th at 6:00pm. (If you are a HS swimmer, join after your season.)

Please remember to be on time to practice and to pick up your swimmers on time. The first few weeks of practice, ending times may vary, especially for our little fins.

Swimmers need to bring a towel and must wear shoes in the parking lot. Swimmers may need to have a jacket for after practice. Swimmers need to have goggles and swimmers with long hair need to wear a swim cap. A list of other swim gear that is needed is located on our website.

Please join our Newark Bluefins Facebook group. You must write your swimmer's name when requesting access.

If sending an email, please include your swimmers name and age group.

3/20 - Wednesday- Swimsuit try on from 5:00-6:00

3/20 Mandatory parent meeting 6:00 pm

3/21 Swim suit try on 5:00-6:00

3/26 – 1st practice at 6:00pm and last day for suit try on

4/29 – 4:30 practice starts for groups 4 and 5

5/10 – Friday Practice- Time Trials (time TBD)

5/13- Swim a thon and tie dye event

5/18 – 1st meet at home vs. Southgate

5/25 – No meet

6/1 – Meet at Castro Valley

6/8 – Meet at Bay Area Dolphins

6/15 – Meet at home vs. Chabot and San Leandro

6/22- Meet at Warm Springs

6/29 – Team Party and Final Meet at home vs. Glenmoor and Mission Valley
